The Yamaha NP-31 Silver is an ultra-portable, intermediate-level digital piano with Yamaha's stereo-sampled grand piano sound and Graded Soft Touch Action keyboard. The Yamaha NP31 Piaggero features Yamaha piano tone and 76 full-sized keys in an ultra-portable package weighing 12 pounds. Operating on 6 AA batteries (not included) there is no need for a power outlet to play the NP31 piano anywhere. The NP31 has an easy-to-use panel design with dedicated voice-select buttons. Built-in metronome with adjustable tempo and time signature fpr practice. The NP31's Graded Soft Touch Action emulates the graded resistance of an acoustic piano, only without the added weight of hammers. Like an actual piano, the lower keys are heavy in touch and gradually become lighter as you go up the scale while retaining the soft touch of a digital keyboard.
