The US-122MKII is a 24-bit / 96kHz resolution USB 2.0 audio MIDI interface with two 1/4-inch line inputs, an instrument input and two phantom powered XLR microphone inputs to provide you with the right connections for any analogue source. Since the Tascam US-122mkII records two simultaneous inputs, so you can plug in your guitar, sing along, and easily make a demo of your work. Optional phantom power means you can use studio quality condensers as well as dynamic mics. And with the included Cubase LE4 48-track recording software, you're ready to lay down tracks with your Tascam US-122mkII right away.

There are also two 1/4-inch line inputs on the Tascam US-122mkII in addition to the two microphone inputs for connecting a keyboard or want to record a drum machine to jam on top of. The US-122 mkII also has 16-channels of MIDI In and Out, so you can connect your keyboard or MIDI controller to play virtual instruments. And with the switchable hi-Z instrument input, you can plug your guitar directly into the US-122mk2 and access software based virtual processors, effects, and amplifier models in your favorite DAW to get the sound you want. The Tascam US122MKII also provides a 1/4-inch headphone output and a pair of RCA outputs to connect monitor speakers.

The Tascam US-122mkII audio MIDI interface is ultra-portable with a small footprint and rugged aluminum frame. Being USB bus powered, the Tascam US-122MK2 does not need an AC adapter and is ready for mobile recording with a laptop computer. It's great for running a output line from a live console and recording your band as you gig, or for keeping a record of rehearsals.

The Tascam US-122mk2 includes a copy of Steinberg Cubase LE4 for Mac and PC, a full-featured recording software captures up to 48 tracks of audio with another 64 MIDI tracks. Edit tracks to perfection using a variety of modes and tools. Automated mixing is included to create the perfect master. Steinberg Cubase LE4 supports VST effect and instrument plug-ins, which an assortment included with the application.
