The Roland Juno Stage synth takes the features of Roland's Juno series synthesizers and re-packages them for the gigging keyboard player. The extra-large 240 x 64 dots graphic backlit LCD display makes onstage use easy to manage, and a phantom-powered mic input lets you use studio-quality condenser mics in the live-sound environment. Backing tracks can be imported by the JUNO-STAGE synth's USB port, and the built-in vocoder is great for singing along. And since it is a Roland synth through and through, you've got access to tons of great sounds, Juno Stage factory patch set covers a wide range of essential sounds, including the flagship 88-key stereo multi-sampled piano, and hands-on control with the Juno Stage.

Roland optimized the Juno Stage synth's controllers for live performance, featuring easy-to-grab knobs for instant Master EQ and Reverb control. Located above the pitch bender, two assignable switches can be used for rotary organ effects, portamento on/off, and more. JUNO-STAGE is equipped with Favorite buttons for instant access to banks of your most-needed sounds. Recall your patches via a dual footswitch connected to a dedicated Patch Select jack, so you never have to take your hands off the keyboard. Connect an optional FS-6 dual footswitch to scroll up or down through patches and performances.

The Roland Juno Stage synthesizer is equipped with a USB port and Song Player function that enables direct playback and control of backing tracks from a USB key. Compatible with MP3, WAV, AIFF, and SMF files, and even use the Center Cancel feature to minimize pre-recorded vocals of audio data for karaoke-style performance. Creating and editing audio Playlists is easy with the supplied Playlist Editor software for PC; the playlist can be viewed on the Roland Juno Stage synth's display.

The MIDI Controller mode, complete with dedicated buttons, changes the Juno Stage from being a synthesizer into a MIDI master keyboard. In MIDI Controller mode, Juno Stage allows program and control changes to be sent with a single touch. MIDI-channel assignments are displayed in a clear, easy-to-understand format. For computer-based track making: Cakewalk's SONAR LE software for PC is bundled.

The Roland Juno Stage synth contains stage-friendly features: an XLR mic input with phantom power for powering studio-quality condenser microphones, vocoder, Click Output for sending an audible click track to band mates onstage, and an external input for a portable MP3 or CD audio player.
