Rode NTG 2
When you need a quality shotgun mic, you want the Rode NTG-2. The Rode NTG-2 is lightweight, so you'll have no problems using it as a camera-mounted mic or on a boom pole. The NTG-2 also sounds absolutely great, thanks to its wide 20Hz-20kHz frequency range and tight supercardioid pickup pattern. The Rode NTG2 is tough and will sound fantastic in any environment. The Rode NTG2 can be phantom powered or can run it off of a 1.5V AA battery. The NTG-2 comes complete with a mount and a windshield.
