The Pro Co Rat 2 distortion stomp box pedal is the sound of the underground, drivey, edgy, and fuzzy. Silicon diodes in the ProCo Rat 2 kick a valve amp into life.
With the Pro Co Rat 2 distortion pedal's continuously variable controls you can dial in distortion, from the sound of a mellow vintage twin to overdriven stacks. The Pro Co RAT 2's smooth harmonic distortion puts extra punch in rhythm and makes solos cut through with authority, power and effortless sustain. Distortion, sustain, fuzz, and overdrive in one road proof stomp box. The Pro Co Rat 2 features the legendary Rat filter control, turn to the right to roll off briddle high-end frequencies, or turn the filter down to allow the natural brightness of your guitar to cut throught the mix.
The Pro Co Rat 2 will survive the road, housed in a massive steel box, with a mil-spec glass epoxy circuit board, conductive plastic controls and a heavy duty industrial footswitch. The Pro Co RAT 2 uses passive switching of both input and output from the signal path to eliminate the loss of power and clarity you often notice when bypassing a pedal.
