Novation ReMOTE 49 SL MKII
The Novation 49 SL Mk II provides more than MIDI control via its 49-key semi-weighted keyboard. This USB controller keyboard doubles as a full 16-knob, 8-fader, 32-button DAW and plug-in control surface. Touch-sensitive soft-feel drumpads are perfect for sketching beats or triggering samples, and the Novation 49 SL MKII controllers' 2-axis Xpression Pad and Pitch/mod Joystick controls.
With a giant 144-character display, back-lit LED buttons, and LED-ringed encoders, the Novation 49 SL Mk II lets you know the status of all of your controls. And you can easily manage all 56 controls using the Automap 3 PRO software that comes bundled with the Novation 49 SL Mk II.
It's easy to assign controls on the Novation 49 SL Mk II MIDI controller with the included copy of Novation's Automap 3 PRO software. Automap 3 PRO lets you touch the controller, click on a an on-screen parameter, and the control is assigned. You can even assign almost any QWERTY or ASCII keyboard shortcut to the hardware controls. On-screen, you can manage your mappings, rename them, or swap them by dragging and dropping. Autoview function brings up the Automap 3 PRO GUI when you touch a Novation 49 SL Mk II controller and hides the GUI after the controller is released. Automap 3 PRO offers intelligent control over all sequencers and VST / AU / RTAS / TDM plug-ins.
With most MIDI controllers, you have to remember the way you've mapped control assignments. The Novation 49 SL Mk II features an LED screen above the row of encoders which displays words to tell you just what you've assigned to each control. Encoders feature an LED ring around them providing visual indication to set levels or to read levels. The Novation 49 SL MKII controller keyboard features 32 assignable back-lit buttons.
Make music right out of the box as the Novation 49 SL MKII ships bundled with Xcite+ software bundle, which includes popular Ableton Live 7 Lite DAW software and 502MB of Mike the Drummer live drum loops, the Novation Bass-station synth, and a 1GB Loopmasters Samples library.
