Designed for home recording, the Line 6 POD HD Desktop multi-effects processor packages sixteen Line 6 HD amplifier models and more than 100 modern and vintage effects from the Line 6 POD HD500 amp modelling effects pedal in Line 6's familiar bean POD format. The Line 6 POD HD connects to just about everything in your studio with stereo balanced outputs, USB 2.0 port, S/PDIF digital output, 1/4-inch input and XLR input.

Other features of the Line 6 POD HD Desktop include USB 2.0 for digital audio recording, Gain, Bass, Middle, Treble and Presence EQ, Master, Drive and Tweak knobs to control settings in real time like an amplifier interface. Plus control buttons for presets, opper functions, tap tempo and tuner. A backlit LCD display shows the Line 6 POD HD Desktop's signal chain. Inputs and outputs are suitable for home studios with a 1/4-inch headphone jack, XLR microphone input, 1/4-inch intrument input, 1/4-inch Left and Right outputs, and a 24-bt S/PDIF digital coaxial output. A Line 6 FBV jack allows connecting an optional FBV footcontroller.
