dB Technologies IEM 500 Set
It is very interesting to have an in-ear-system in this price range. MP awards 5-stars in advance for the inexpensive price!
In-Ear-System
This problem is well-known to every musician: How can other musicians hear me on stage and how can I hear myself? Everyone knows the difficulties of floor monitors. As soon as you hear yourself you also hear the loud feedback. In order to contol the monitoring sound better, a new monitoring technique was created which is a wireless in-ear-monitoring and can be seen by many top atrists.
The history of these "earphones" is not that old. The British company Garwood is the pioneer of this wireless technique. The idea came up at a Stevie Wonder concert in London. After the blind singer fell over a stage monitor during rehearsal, he was given a set of headphones, but unfortunately the cable was not long enough and became an even bigger problem than the floor monitor. Therefore they decided to design a wireless solution. The concert went well apart from the fact that the transmission was so strong that it could be heard on radio throughout London.
Unfortunately the initial in-ear-systems made by Garwood were based on the audiotechnical performance of a flush generator so that there soon were many rivals on the market like Shure or Sennheiser who managed to devide the market between themselves due to their top technology use.
