The Alesis DM6 electronic drum kit has been upgraded to the Alesis DM6 USB with a USB output from the DM6 drum module of the drum notes played as a MIDI signal to trigger drum module software.

The super affordable Alesis DM6 USB electric drum kit provides a 5-piece electronic drum set that ships with the DM6 sound module, five responsive playing pads including a dual-zone snare, two toms, and a kick pad with kick pedal, crash and ride cymbal pads, a hi-hat, and tubular support rack. Complete with a headphone output, the DM6 is the ideal percussion sound module and controller system. A 1/8-inch input for connecting an iPod, MP3 player or CD player and mix it in with the drums enables players of all skill levels to practice quietly with the Alesis DM6 electronic drum kit.

The Alesis DM6 USB electronic drum set uses the Alesis DM6 sound module with 108 drum, cymbal, and percussion sounds. Edit and save drum kits for custom sounds. The DM6 module includes 10 presets and 5 custom slots. In addition to the sounds in the DM6 module, there's a USB output that sends the notes played out as MIDI signal, so you can use the DM6 as a trigger-to-MIDI interface with drum-module software such as BFD, Toontrack, or Reason for a limitless collection of sounds. The Alesis DM6 module has a metronome and a built-in sequencer with 40 preset music tracks for play along. The Alesis DM6 sound module has headphone and amplifier outputs so you can play quietly in headphones or connect up for a gig. Connect your iPod or CD player and mix it in with the DM6's stereo input jack.

The Alesis DM6 USB electronic drum kit features realistic, natural-feeling playing surfaces. To reduce vibration feedback drum and cymbal surfaces are from natural rubber. The Alesis DM6 USB five-piece kit gets you started on a dual-zone snare pad for two-sound compatibility. Dial in a snare drum sound in the center and a rim click, rimshot, or something totally different like a cowbell on the rim. The Alesis DM6 USB electronic drum kit also comes with three tom pads, an upright kick drum pad, hi-hat, crash, and ride cymbal pads. The DM6 USB also includes an Alesis bass drum pedal and the kick pad is compatible with any single or double bass drum pedal for your personal feel.

The Alesis DM6 USB electronic drum kit mounts on a heavy-duty aluminum rack from 1-1/2" tubing that fits Alesis and other brands' clamps and mounts. The Alesis DM6 electronic drum kit also comes with a full set of mounting hardware and cables, as well as rugged kick drum and hi-hat pedals.
